College Level Research

Research is an Integral part of Gandhi Shikshan Bhavan and conducted researches at different levels.

BEd. Student’s research:-
Action research and community research in schools and community such as:

  • Study of diminishing number of students in Municipal schools
  • Reason for parents sending students to coaching classes

M.Ed Students:
Research Studies conducted in Rural Schools related to the Challenges and Opportunities faced by students and teachers in Rural Schools. Studies on New Government Policies – like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Training teachers in Active Learning Methods, Nationwide Cleanliness. Drives etc.

Faculty :
The faculty is highly motivated and involved in research activities.
Action Research done by the faculty with the objective.

  • To analyze the effectiveness of the programmes of the institution.
  • To improve the Quality of the different programmes conducted in the institution.
  • To evolve new programmes for the future.
  • To work towards institutional Growth, Progress and Development.

The research work is encouraged in the following areas:-

The Teacher Educators of the institution conduct research on all the above aspects. Every teacher takes up one activity either individually or as a part of a group, depending on the research undertaken. The feedback regarding the effectiveness of the programmes is obtained. This feedback is used for evaluating the programmes and necessary improvements are made in the programmes, which help the institution to develop further. Every year the faculty takes up research in any of the above areas and the findings are disseminated through the research journal ‘Quest in Education and improvement are made in the curriculum. In all the faculty has published more than 100 research papers and Articles in Various Educational Journals and Magazines and disseminated the findings
