About Library

  1. The library and college is located on the ground floor of the building. Reading room and stacks are in one room only. Research room is part of a library. All research books, thesis, minor projects, dissertations, bound volumes are stacked systematically in the research room. Library has 800 sq. area. 50 students can sit comfortably in the library.
  2. In general library follows closed access system but for staff and researchers and as per demand of students open access system is provided. Library remain opens from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.   every day except on Sundays and holidays and second and forth Saturdays.
  3. Library has software SOUL 3.0, where all the library collection is catalogued and circulation is done through software. Special BAR SCAN software is installed. With the help of barcode machine and scanner bar-coding is done.  4 computers with internet and 2 printers are provided to the library.
  4. Books are classified  as per 21st edition of D.D.C

Rules & Regulations

  • Library will remain open 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (excluding public holidays, Sundays, 2nd & 4th Saturdays)
  • Student must show library card and current issue card whenever asked by the librarian.
  • Each student can take 2 books on the library card but at a time one book will be issued.
  • Students can take any number of books on current issue card for reading purpose in the library.
  • Reference books such as journals, encyclopaedia’s, dictionaries, school textbooks, yearbooks, rare books, single copy books available only in the library and college campus but not for home issue.
  • Book bank facility is provided to students as per availability of books for six months. University book bank facility is only for needy students. Those books have to return after each semester examination.
  • Books will be returned after final examinations failing which result will be held
  • Drinking tea, eating, use of mobile, chatting in the reading room is strictly prohibited.
  • Photocopy facility is available.
  • Don’t share your N-list password with anybody. Treat this password as your ATM password.
