On November 26, 2022, our college organized a visit to the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, located at Gen. Jagannathrao Bhosale Marg, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The purpose of the visit was to witness an open platform on poetry recitation by school and college students and attend an interview session featuring Bollywood actor Ali Fazal, conducted by Neeraj Apte. 

Yashwantrao Chavan Centre is a renowned cultural hub in Mumbai known for hosting various events related to art, culture, and literature. The center provides a platform for aspiring artists, writers, poets, and performers to showcase their talents and engage with a wider audience. The center is located in the heart of Mumbai at Nariman Point, making it easily accessible to visitors. 

Poetry Recitation by School and College Students: 

Upon arriving at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, we were greeted by the vibrant atmosphere filled with anticipation and excitement. The open platform on poetry recitation featured students from various schools and colleges, who had the opportunity to present their original works and favorite poems to the audience. The event aimed to encourage and promote young talent in the field of poetry and literature. 

The participants exhibited an impressive range of emotions, themes, and poetic styles. It was a pleasure to witness the depth and creativity displayed by the young poets. The recitations covered a wide array of topics, including social issues, personal experiences, nature, love, and more. The audience was captivated by the heartfelt performances, and the event provided an enriching experience for all those present. 

Interview of Ali Fazal by Neeraj Apte: 

Following the poetry recitation session, we had the privilege of attending an interview featuring Bollywood actor Ali Fazal, conducted by Neeraj Apte. Ali Fazal is a renowned actor known for his versatile performances in both Bollywood and international films. 

The interview provided insights into Ali Fazal’s journey as an actor, his experiences in the film industry, and his perspectives on various aspects of acting and cinema. Neeraj Apte skillfully guided the conversation, allowing the audience to gain a deeper understanding of Ali Fazal’s craft and his thoughts on the evolving landscape of the entertainment industry.

Ali Fazal’s articulate responses, coupled with his charming personality, engaged the audience throughout the interview. He shared anecdotes, talked about his inspirations, and discussed his upcoming projects, providing valuable insights into the world of Bollywood and acting as a career.
